Viewing Album: Old Shortline Box Cars
By:
Carssen Burrill
Dates:
1/1/2000 - 1/1/2099
Album Info:
In the seventies shortlines would have large fleets of box cars that would be leased to bigger railroads to make a profit. Most have wound up in larger fleets (and shorter railroads) like EEC & the H&S. This album is entirely devoted to colorful, rusty, faded, and graffitized box cars. No boring oxide red box cars in this album.
